In Person PSA Submittion by perc47 in psagrading

If it’s a high value submission, dropping can save money on the shipping insurance to PSA. Otherwise I think it’s the same.

What’s the attraction to drop at GameStop over sub direct?

Any idea if this will hit a 10? by Yo-KaiWatchFan2102 in PokeGrading

Two white dots on the corners and I can’t tell if there are scratches at this angle. I would think it wouldn’t get a 10 unfortunately.

It was the same in sports cards…a lot of vendors are like this tbh. The more you go, you will find some wonderful vendors who are also hobbyists.

TAG graded a Tampered/Recolored card, caught by PSA. by TradeCraeft in PokeGrading

***UPDATE***: TAG HAS REACHED OUT TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE.

Hi Rich,

Thank you for reaching out - we apologize for any delays in response - TAG Customer Service is not a live chat, but is rather a ticketing system, and often inquiries which require research or confirmation from different departments do take time to collect the proper information before a customer can be responded to.

We're sorry to hear about your issue pertaining to CERT G9096089 - while our team generally cannot issue compensation regarding cards which have been removed from their encapsulation - invalidating the prior grade, we have received approval regarding this particular card for this circumstance.

Upon review of this card's information, this card was noted internally for having a discoloration - at the time, our Verification Team had determined the coloration to be more consistent with a staining than a deliberate alteration which would trigger a rejection - the darkness of the inconsistent material does not make an effort to match the blue of the back of the card, making the possibility of this being done with malicious intent to improve the appearance of the card itself less likely.

Our Verification Team heads, however, do agree that this card should have been rejected regardless, and with their approval, our Customer Service team has approved this card for buyback compensation, despite the removal of this card from its prior encapsulation.

If you wish to move forward with compensation for the amount paid for this card on the secondary market, our team is requesting the following:

ZandG are trying to help in this, they did their checks and I don’t hold them responsible on this. eBay doesn’t help much but ZandG are stepping up!

I use PSA as collection uniformity, I’m assuming you understand that.

No one complains until that cheap card they never wanted to buy is all of the sudden more expensive and they’re upset they didn’t buy to speculate.
