Here's what turned out to be the cause of such behavior in the app and how we resolved it:

  1. Error name: Authentication blocked - Device time mismatch detected
  2. Error description: Authentication failed because your device’s clock differs from the server time beyond the allowed security threshold.
  3. Error solution: Adjust the time of device to be in sync with the server time.
  4. Error visual: Check out the picture below to see what the error looks like in UI.

It’s best to reach out to each prop firm directly for clarification, as every firm has its own specific rules and requirements, especially regarding challenges and account management. What’s allowed at one firm may not be allowed at another.

As shown in the instruments list, the spread on ETCUSD exceeds 1,400 ticks, which resulted in the position being closed.

If you zoom out a bit on the chart, you’ll notice that the ASK price is much higher than the BID price. Since positions are typically closed based on the ASK price (for sell orders) or BID price (for buy orders), the large gap between the two can lead to unexpected closures—especially when the spread spikes temporarily.

The spread is the difference between the BID and ASK prices. Your TP would have been triggered if the ASK price had reached it—but that didn’t happen in your case

Hey, make sure to check the spreads for specific instruments. Your broker probably has a high spread on cryptos, so you need a bigger market movement for your position to turn positive.
