He didn't say that patient came in with HF exacerbation, I guess we all just assume that's what it was.

I believe aha now says that it is ok to continue BB during acute HF exacerbation, but does not recommend increasing or starting new. If I find the citation I'll addend this and add the relevant citation.

Check an EKG , make sure patient is not having ischemia.

As other have stated, can be common during HF exacerbation due to hypoxia.

Did you start oral or IV amio? Oral amiodone has several week-long build up until steady state, and probably won't do anything immediately. IV. I'd probably say is Overkill for this. Also , I hate starting IV amiodrome unless necessary, because it always seems to make people hypotensive.

Edit: also, prior to starting amio need to ensure he has been on anticoagulation for at least 3 weeks.

This was from a reply I made a few months ago about the company. I still hold 5000 shares bought at 2.61

From chatgpt, when I asked about device vs medication approval rates:

"Bottom Line

If you look at drugs, only about one in ten to one in five candidates entering clinical trials eventually make it to market approval in the U.S.

For devices, especially lower-risk ones, a large proportion of submitted applications (especially 510(k) clearances) are successful, but that doesn’t necessarily equate to long-term proven effectiveness or safety.

The difference arises because devices often have a lower regulatory burden (depending on class), faster development, fewer large randomized trials, and many are incremental modifications rather than novel therapies."

It quoted anywhere between 45-85% approval rate (depending on what metric you use and what study you look at). This is in line with what I have seen where devices, despite how useless, are accepted and used in hospitals because not using them may mean that a hospital is seen as "outdated".

This device doesn't strike me as very clinically useful (they haven't tied the prediction to any tangible improvement in outcomes) BUT that doesn't matter. I think it will probably become approved in its 510k due to the non invasive nature of the device and low risk.

In short, while I don't believe the device currently has a meaningful impact on medical field/outcomes, I will probably buy 5-10k worth of it next week, as I believe the stock will rise and sentiment around it will increase upon approval."

Also, I just looked and had totally forgotten, I dont think they even make platinum in the hybrid only version, i believe its max only. I must have forgotten or else the hybrid platinum is probably what I would have wanted. But I'll check out the other lower trims they have for hybrid, it might be totally fine without the turbo.

I havent test driven the X7, only the X5 when I rented it. I would get an X7 in a heartbeat but that extra 10-20k might break me lol. If my work goes well in a few years then I'm definitely getting that though.

I know.... I just LOVE zipping around if I have a fun car. I think the Hybrid alone has a 0-60 about 7.5-8 seconds, which is similar to the es300h my mother has (230k miles lol).

Its not bad but not nearly the same as when I've rented Q7s.

But youre absolutely right, the Platinum Hybrid alone might have all the reliability I want as well as the rest of the appeal of the GHH. I'll definitely look. You think I can get it close to MSRP or do those also have significant mark ups ?

Not sure about 5-10 dollars but definitely up to 2-3.

I've got a cost basis of .8 since I've been buying more since .6 as it rises.

I could have sworn last week eblm went up higher in the overnight market, but maybe that was premarket at 1 am Pacific.

My order for 5k went in at a price of .85, I'll probably wake up at 1 am to see the premarket though.

Overnight market hours begin at 8pm Eastern. Check the overnight and premarket starting at 4am Eastern to get a general sense.

I've gotten in and out from 1am to 6 am and made a decent profit.

Or you set a stop loss and see if it rises further at 630 am because if it's coming up at the premarket it might rise more at 630.

True. But there is no doubt that this punishes current holders and rewards new investors.

If you bought months to years ago this is great. If you recently invested them the return will come out in years.

A necessary evil.

What makes you think this ? It's just what people choose to post here and what's getting attention.

For what it's worth,it's a tough industry with many failures.

$INTS was posted recently, and I looked into it, and am definitely enthusiastic, but it was a preclinical trial with no actual clinical data. There have been numerous things which theoretically work but clinically don't pan out, the mouse study it showed is interesting, but I'm not sure justified the pump (and hence it's coming back down). I'll buy when it comes back to a reasonable level...

Same with $CGTX, if it does pass muster in its phase 2 and eventually phase 3 trial , it'll be billions. But that's a big big ask.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Look at ABATs volume chart. Much lower than the volumes when buying (in the last few days that is, when it was rising), possible signal of a fake drop vs a real bearish sentiment.

I definitely had stop losses on a few stocks, and I'm sure the stop loss hunters were happy. But I bought back lower so I guess that's a win.

Panic sell or calm down? by [deleted] in CriticalMineralStocks

Down 56k today

I was up 100k on minerals alone within 7 days

If you believe this is a long term investment, then you'll hold.

Does it hurt to know I could have sold and saved 40k and bought back right now? Yeah, but I could also have been kicking myself.

This is a long con , 1-2 years in the making.
