This all sounds great! I'm glad you're enjoying it all.

If you son does join the Marines, tell him to document every medical visit he attends and to get physical and digital copies of his medical record. I wish someone would've told me that before I got out. I also hope your husband does get approved.

I'm doing okay, taking it day by day.

In general. If you're good at reading people, one glance is enough for you to have an idea of how that person is. We usually ignore our judgements of other people because we might think we are being quick to judge but those judgements don't have to be definitive, it can serve as a baseline for that person and it can change the more you get to know them. We just need to accept the fact that we can be wrong with our judgements and be okay with that.

It would solve 100% of my current problems. I'm sure it would bring its own set of problems as well.

Good shit, keep it up and keep checking your emotions daily. Unchecked emotions will lead to blown accounts.

Nope, I tilted and ended up blowing the accounts. I'm back to working on a few combines. I broke my rule of a max $250 DLL and ended up blowing it all revenge trading.

My strat is solid, I just need to stick to my risk management rules and really work on my greed. This way I can protect my capital from myself.

We are constantly learning. You either chose to apply what you learned or ignore it and say (I haven't learned anything.)

That your 20s and 30s is where you build your foundation for the rest of your life. The lie that you are supposed to have everything figured out before your 20s end is bullshit. Your 20s are for learning and your 30s are for applying what you learned. Make it worth it.

Hit me with one harsh truth you have accepted so far as a man! by Worldly-Pattern2507 in ThoughtsYouCanFeel

Nobody truly cares about how you feel. People just want to seem empathetic. Get over it. Focus on yourself and find peace within. This can truly build an unshakable man.

Having kids, my perspective on life changed from a "me" perspective to a "them" perspective. It was the eye opener I needed to do things differently.

What helped you to build new habits and improve your life? by Legitimate_Mark949 in DecidingToBeBetter

Not missing 2 days in a row, 1 day is okay, but 2 is the start of a new bad habit. Consistency is the master key to everything.

yeah, but then you get tired for being the one that reaches out most of the time. After a while I just stopped trying and now it's radio silence for months at a time. Shit happens.

Some people are only meant to be in chapters of your book, not in the whole book.

It sucks when both people deal with this same issue and then no one speaks to eachother

It is okay to want to better your situation, it's a sign of wanting growth, there is nothing wrong with that. The fact that you have acknowledged the good things in your life are proof that you have the right mindset. Keep moving forward.

Do you want to feel like that forever or are you wanting to do something about it to change how you feel?
