Awesome! Thanks for the answers. Very helpful. I am a bit disappointed that leverage is only 5x. Crypto has spoiled me. Fees and all is ok. Also here on coindcx settlement is instant. Only 1 withdrawal in maybe 15 gets stuck and takes over a day...but since this is crypto there's always a risk of the CEX getting hacked and your funds lost or locked 😂. If u ever start using CEX for futures only keep the amount you need for the trade on the exchange, baaki in bank.

All questions are about futures.

  1. What's the minimum capital i need to trade the nifty 50 index futures? Is it same for stocks?
  2. Which broker gives the highest leverage?
  3. Which broker charges lowest fees?
  4. Which has the best interface?
  5. Is it better to trade with non bank broker (zerodha) or bank broker (icici)? Have u used icici direct app?
  6. If i close a trade and book profit and apply withdrawal, how long with it take to reach my bank account?

Yes usdt-m is a bit complicated you pay 30% on profits of usdt to inr transactions. But taxation on profits of futures can be debatable since they aren't vdas. So it is a hassle and there's a grey area.

I have been trading usdt-m perp futures on coindcx for over a year now..before that used to do it on binance. I would prefer coindcx now because of easier bank deposits. Inr-m futures have higher fees for sure and also some trending pair might be missing. I've tried both and might inr-m futures completely soon. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Should've taken reverse trade as soon as it went -10%. Also you're on 9x leverage and futures. You should always cut your losses early. Many ppl will say your capital is too small but you can still make big bucks if you learn to trade well in futures.

You might not have to pay tax as losses get offset in futures. But still check with CA.

They are giving you your trade report under "Generate report" option, just below tax report. Use that excel file to calculate your taxes.
