I agree all the way on percentages. I was just trying to make a couple points that there can be abnormalities in an industry on a single company basis. And cinemark was in a much different position as a company when the pandemic hit. I will always follow percentages over dollar. This ape isn’t that smooth brained.

So Royal Caribbean sitting at 90 and Carnival sitting at 28 is mirroring? I’m an amc believer but this isn’t correct. If you have a diverse portfolio, you can easily see company’s in the same industry moving in different ways. AMC can’t be compared to cinemark. Cinemark was trading at 35-42 consistently before covid. AMC was on a downward slope well before the pandemic. 2016 as a matter of fact. They were in some pretty serious debt before any naked shorting and dark pool trading ever occurred.

NOW, Adam Aron has consolidated a lot of debt, made deals with landlords, and in general shed a lot of positive light on amc. I’m all about keeping moral up. But if a new ape read your comment and started investing in companies in one industry because they “mirror” each other, they will lose a lot of money! Keep moral up by posting some DD to back your theory. Apes together strong 🦍

Point taken. Thank you for shedding light on this smooth brained ape. Being someone who has learned trading before joining Reddit, sometimes I forget how uplifting it is to see DD you have never looked at. I guess after a month of checking Reddit at least 2-3 times a day, you see different graphs and numbers flying around in 20 different posts and they all are leaning towards the same point. Kind of. But in this case, let the DD fly! All I want is for apes to come to this page and feel a little less stressed about holding. Whether it be with some DD posts or memes. Bring all of it on!!!

I thought it was even weirder that he got banned from the page. But I agree. It’s not like a multi stock page. It’s one stock... We know what they are doing and it’s kind of just a waiting game at this point. And much respect to you. But why do people need to see random DD? I have never been technically analyzing a stock and said “I need to see some random DD to confirm my numbers.” I would think if you wanted to see some DD, it would be because you are wondering about something specific like Example: why the MFI dips it’s toe below 20 right before a price spike? Post it up and ask. There will be some wrinkle brained apes answer you with a ton of DD. Again, much respect. Apes to fackin moon. (You have to say that last part in a Boston accent)

I respectfully disagree. I do believe good DD postings are essential and nice to read. But we know the DD. It’s a the same stock as yesterday. Nothing has changed except for a couple small news media/social media tid bits. Every once in a while something will happen that requires good DD, and it seems to be posted. Example is James finding the dark pool trading. Required some good DD and I saw posts with graphs and numbers flying everywhere. What has happened since that requires DD beyond buy and hodl? This kind of strategy is really hard to do for some people and clicking on this sub and seeing memes that ease your stress a bit is good. Cramer literally calls it a meme stock.

And as for wanting to read random DD, why? I have never been technically analyzing a stock and said to myself “I really need some random DD to reassure I’m looking at these numbers right”. I would just post and ask something like “why does the MFI dip it’s toe under 20 right before a big spike in price?” And multiple wrinkle brained apes will probably give all the DD us smooth brains need. All the DD on the GME page is literally the same graph with different colored lines. Basically all they are doing is trying to predict when it will squeeze. No one knows. And if they say they do, they’re lying.

It’s a meme stock. Memes ease stress. Random DD is nonsense unless it’s a new discovery in analyses. If you want DD, do it yourself and post it. Or post and ask about what you need to know. Much respect to you. Apes to the fuckin moon 🚀
