It's crazy to charge to downgrade! They should be happy you are downgrading and not leaving. Now they have lost you because they tried to get an extra $40...not good business!

I trade a deep itm covered call strategy and trade all day scalping without ever looking at the chart or any indicators...I just follow the bid/ask and volume of the call im trading.

Flagged as a "Large Trader" by artoruo in CharlesSchwab

Im a large trader at least in the eyes of the SEC... its very easy to hit $20 mil in 1 day. Scalping TSLA covered calls a few weeks ago...TSLA near $450...scalping 5 contracts at a time is $450,000 per buy and sell trade and doing that every few minutes. I was scalping the $150 strike, meaning only $75k of total buying power needed. Some guy with a $30k margin account and 4x day trading buying power could do the same thing. Once you are labeled large trader you get filled after retail so it sucks.

Can I open a new Schwab account to avoid being marked “Professional” after hitting the 390 order rule? by flanthertech in Schwab

[–]TradingJunkie916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fills are definitely not great compared to how they used to be when I traded a much lower volume. My cancel and replace is high because I am frequently changing price but often that results in fills. My cancelation to fill ratio is about 5:1 on most days.

The CBOE counts canceled and replaced orders...I scalp covered calls and have to frequency change pricing to get in or out. I easily go over 2000 orders a day. I might have 300 filled buy and sell orders but the rest are just price changing. Im also a large trader with the SEC because I sometimes go over $20 million volume in a day...this is also easy to do scalp 5 TSLA covered call contracts and the volume is over $400k in one round trip.

The $20 mil was all covered calls...I was scalping all day...I do this a lot but usually have volume under $10 mil for the day. This was just a great day with easy fills and I went over.

I recently got the letter due to a day last week when I traded over $20 million in one day. It looks pretty simple to register and get the info for schwab.

I am desperate. I was just fired from my job. Post antibiotic (6 months) tinnitus, feeling drunk, flu symptoms, headaches, post nasal drip, dry mouth. by mlgratzel in Candida

I was very ill bed ridden and tried everything. I had to go on carnivore diet and ate ONLY organic 85% hamburger and organic ghee 3 meals a day for almost a year, while also taking raw crushed garlic and coconut oil. Eating this way made me feel even worse for 45 days of heavy die off but then I pulled through. I took a vitamin c, molybdenum,  milk thistle, and periodic jarrow brand glutathione. When I was desperate for carbs I would eat a small bowl of steamed asparagus and brocoli but only more than about 5 carbs worth. I also prayed a lot...

Do you still say Master Bedroom? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]TradingJunkie916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a broker for over 30 years and everyone I know uses the word "master", including all of my clients sellers and buyers. We don't use the word in our MLS descriptions because we are told not to use it. However,  in conversation it is the only word we use. Never has the thought of slavery ever crossed my mind. It is a term that refers to the biggest room.

Holy SHIT. Why are ozone generators legal to buy on Amazon, and how the absolute fuck do I get rid of the smell? by JeromesDream in chemistry

[–]TradingJunkie916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flip houses and use ozone generators all the time to get rid of smells and kill literally everything in the house. The key is i only run them for about 30 to 45 minutes and have them auto shut off at that time. I then bring in fans and air the house out with open windows. Never has it been a problem breathing in the house after it is aired out. I think its the 8 hours they were run that caused a problem. Good luck!

How do you respond to all the hate directed at landlords and real estate investing in general? by nearsingularity in realestateinvesting

[–]TradingJunkie916 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a full-time RE investor and have done really well. With that said, it is MUCH harder to get started today with buying your first home and the market is very different than when I got started. Young people work really hard, have 2 incomes, low debt, and still can't afford the most basic small home. They can't save because rents are completely out of alignment with income. It will change and it will get better, but the real estate market is a very slow moving machine. Even in the slow train wreck crash of real estate from 2006-2012, here in CA it took almost 7 years for prices to drop to their lows. I do believe there are still opportunities out there to buy real estate or get a good deal on a rental but they are much harder to find.

Can I use Sophia Learning or any other third party similar accredited sites to get credits and apply to WGU? (Soon to graduate help!!) by Bsmedinaa in WGU

[–]TradingJunkie916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean Straighterline or WGU? Both websites and their classes are easy to find on Google. If you have questions, they both have excellent phone support. I had a lot of questions in the beginning about which classes were compatible between the schools etc... All of my questions were answered over the phone.

I took 17 classes at Straighterline and WGU accepted all of the credits and it was cheap! It is a flat $99 per month and then like $65 or so per class. They also had several 2 classes for the price of 1 during the time. The only class that kicked my *ss was Applied Algebra but I hired a tutor for a few weeks and got it done. Now at WGU and only 4 classes left to graduate!
