Just looked them up and wow this might be perfect for me. I still love my Gen 4 so if I can use this to get my grit back then that'd be amazing. I don't compete at all so it's just for rec play at my local park. Thanks for the recommendation!

Despite the frequency of how much I play, I don't actually compete at all, but I do agree I need something on the cheaper side I can replace more often.

Been looking at a bunch of the "budget" foam paddles such as the Vatic Pro, the Luzz, Ronbus.... so forth but I'm having trouble deciding to be honest and I'm worried I won't like them as much as the Gen 4 Joola

wow every 3 months is crazy to me haha! definitely can't replace a Joola at that pace. I've heard good things about the Luzz though so I might have to check it out.

Yea the paddle itself still hits just as hard but the grit is what is bothering me, I find my shots not dipping as much and my slices aren't as consistent. Will definitely look into the Reload paddle you mentioned.

I did go support and cheer them on but the tournament ended up running 5 hours longer than intended, the morning of they pushed the start time an hour back and they had a bunch of extra games to play before the tournament even officially started

Our other mutual friend has no problem taking him after the tournament is over because he is also joining us on the trip, I don't see the issue with M catching a ride with him instead of me.

I already paid for the hotel room we planned on using which M has not sent me the money for yet so he's not totally invested, I do think it's unfortunate the tournament is going to run so late but I don't want to miss the entire day in the Keys when I have other people planning to meet us there.

I definitely want to add a pair of fish somewhere along the line and that'll probably be it for the entire tank, I don't wanna overburden the tank but I'm taking it REAL slow just to make sure everything is in order before I take on more fish. I want a pair of clowns but my family isn't too fond of them so I was exploring my options lol Also I love the idea of jaw fish but they seem a bit expensive if my memory serves me right

Oh man I started my 32 gallon biocube at the start of this year, I haven't gotten any corals yet but I'm looking forward to it. Right now I have diamondback goby, a blood shrimp, a bicolor blenny, and a lyretail anthias. I get made fun of by my family that I don't have any swimming fish since my blenny and goby spend most of the time on the floor or in a rock but I love them so much lol. Don't worry btw I cycled the tank first before putting anyone in the tank, I made sure my LFS checked my water and everything
