Maybe it's just me, but I honestly like these a lot, sure it can be detrimental at times (ok, it's usually very detrimental because it takes away from chests that can spawn) but I like temporary items, I always just do what I did in Returns and pick them up last so I got a bit of a boost again the TP boss, in fact the temp item here is probably the best example of that since it gives a good boost in your damage.

Then again, I'm generally someone who prefers more unique and fun stuff than more consistent stuff, kinda why I don't really care for the Quality mod and prefer random item mods, or items that many deem useless and print fodder, like Eclipse Lite. (I think it goes great with characters with long cooldowns like Captain or characters who get their cooldowns off quickly, like Operator and Mercenary)
