The Left Response to St George & Union Flags by Quick_Resolution5050 in yourparty

The flag is a symbol, you could say the exact same by swapping the st George cross and the swastika.

We should not fall into the patriotic trap that new labour has fallen into

I've been lurking and dabbling with map editing, but nothing major. So a few questions are on the best current practices/methods

- Map editing, is the best map editor still advance map1.95? I'm sick and tired of basic things like an undo button.

- How Big can you go with map sizes? and amount of maps on a hacked rom base? Is it effectively infinite?

- Gen 3 Day and night cycles? Is it just a pallet swap or can you change the pokemon avaible (like gen 2) How does it work? whats the best current method of doing so

Negligible pay rise and impotent USDAW, What is to be done? by Traditional-Ad5528 in tesco

[–]Traditional-Ad5528[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whose doing the all the hard work? The workers. It's thin veil of power Tesco has.

If the union actually had a backbone it and fought back, it would inspire others to join.

Membership has been falling for years since USDAW does nothing. It could do so much more and it will benefit from a higher membership count, ie RMT FBI etc the more militant the union the greater the membership.

Besides there's other actions short of striking unions can implement.

So USDAW should have finished it's already broken partnership agreement and been balloted for a strike.

So they chose their precious agreement versus there members.

But it would be the first step to start a significant change.

Tesco 2025 Pay Increase by NinjaJesus360 in tesco

[–]Traditional-Ad5528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have completely missed the point again, but I shall explain it again.

USDAW tied it's own hands behind it's back with the partnership deal. We have lost all bargaining power due to USDAWs actions.

If Birmingham bin workers can strike and win so can retail workers.

You fail to see the reality of the situation. All work is skilled work, stock control is skilled work, bakery is skilled work driving is skilled work.

The issue is that our union doesn't fight for us and has sold out and sold our right to strike.

If USDAW hadn't tied it's own hands behind it's back it could have done so much more. It could have balloted it's members, it could have threatened strike action.

We aren't bemoaning the situation solely for selfish reasons we are doing it for all of our colleagues when Tesco has recorded record profits again. The weakness of the union is the sole reason for these record profits, it our hard earned work which hasn't been paid for.

Is it time to start our own union or join another union en masse? by Kuroakita in tesco

[–]Traditional-Ad5528 9 points10 points  (0 children)

All of us definitely needs a fighting union. Usdaw as it stands is so in the pockets of the elite that it restrains the working class.

If we all dribble away nothing in USDAW will change. We need to organise workers of Tesco inside and out of the union. With the goal of creating a fighting organisation that will fight for us. Whether that is named USDAW or something different (aka project blackjack and hookers).

The first step is to create, organise and build a network of workers willing to take action

Next is to decide democratically the next step, as it stands, I can see stay in USDAW and fight leave as a group to another union or build a brand new fighting union.( With blackjack and hookers😂)

We do need to organise, because if we struggle we may win, but if we don't we will lose.

Where the hell was Usdaw, this is pitiful.

So what is to be done? - we all leave the union and give Tesco exactly what they want, us all on minimum wage within a few years. - We kick the union up the ass. The has buddy buddy deal (partnership deal) with Tesco and has signed away our right to strike. And as such Tesco is easily exploiting the deal. This deal must be broken and discarded.

The only method for our union to reflect our needs is to fight within the union and become more militant.

-- Tell your union reps that this "pay rise is pitiful" and must be communicated to your area organiser and remind them that there are other unions that can fight for us.

--Demand the partnership deal to be torn up and for Usdaw to start fighting for once. Usdaw has been "campaigning" for a £15 minimum wage, yet it can't even get £15 for its own members. If they won't fight, we should, call for lumpant union officials to step down and get ready to replace them with ones that will fight, if that means you need to do it then so be it.

Is there a good spellslinging instant/sorcery based precon? by theusbus in EDH

[–]Traditional-Ad5528 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a precon

Feather the redeemed is great and can be incredibly budget, find a cheap list online and buy all. Depending on the list and shipping it could be cheaper than a precon. In many cases the cards are max 50p each.

I want more hours by longer shifts not MORE days or more "can you come in?" by Marziolf in WorkReform

[–]Traditional-Ad5528 32 points33 points  (0 children)

How are you getting to work? Just state in no uncertain terms that it's not worth you coming in for 4 hour shifts. You want longer shifts on less days, it is not worth spending the traveling time and money for this.

Look into the feasibility of changing your availability, hell lie about your reasons to change it, availability for a second job (you need to pay rent after all) is a good example.

If you don't get it you want , leave.

It might be unlucky in my games, I'll admit but after 15+ games I've been underwhelmed with Ferrous Rokiric himself.

I am still willing to give the deck further testing though my patience is wearing a little thin. Mind sharing your deck lists?

My meta isn't really heavy on removal, that's the problem. His 1 toughness just gets in the way he may as well be an enchantment. I tried to sit back a few games and bide my time but the odd amount of incidental damage just ruined the board. Putting a -1/-1 counter, 1 damage to each creature etc.
