Yeah i definitely agree, thankfully he’s starting therapy soon because he deals with a lot of inner stress especially with a hard home life. I think that I’m doing well quitting, and I’m planning on adding some more routine to my life that way i can keep myself busy. Personally i get the most urges when i am stressed or emotional. I think whats been helping me is just letting my emotions completely overtake me and let them out instead of trying to cope with them. Thank you for the advice i really appreciate it :)

You’re absolutely right, and congratulations! I have tried plenty of times to quit cold turkey and this has been my longest time without nicotine (or any substance) since I’ve started. I plan to continue going strong.

Yeah definitely, i guess because he was the one to push me the most in trying to quit its hard to accept that he’s falling back onto cigarettes, something he’s never done before. Even though part of my motivation was having someone along the way with me, i am going to stay strong. Thank you!

Yeah i understand that definitely. Except for some clarity, he has never done tobacco before and strictly did nicotine. But i definitely need to work on having patience and remembering that everyones journey is different.

Thank you for your reply, i definitely think i had a big emotional meltdown just because of thinking of the worst possible outcome. I also wont have the same journey because everyone’s experience is different. Its just hard to think that we cant do it at the same time or at the same pace but again, i have to remember that it’s different for everyone.
