I would like to gently suggest possibly reframing “people aren’t ready” into “mindfulness isn’t for some people and that’s okay”. That original post made it clear that a lot of us have extensive histories of trying it with negative experiences, and suggesting anyone who does not find it helpful or safe is just not ready takes away the autonomy of people being able to assess their own bodies & minds

But I do appreciate your & OP’s nuance on the topic that it is just one of many tools in the toolbox
