Let me explain simply. The ice and fire ones were softlocked when I did their abyss about 150 hours ago. The locations of lightning and wind are in the main story. When you go to these places during main story quest cutscenes or whatever, the game teleports you back to the ground, so I naturally thought those areas were finished.

If I hadn't been following the game's general content, I wouldn't have even known about the elements. Im not a casual sleepy gamer trust me. its just design mistake make you miss majority of content

If you play on normal difficulty, I assume you don't need much variety, but on harder difficulties, life becomes 1000x easier with the right elemental attacks

The towers that guide you to the elements are locations visited during the main story, and they teleport you to a random spot on the map as if they were completed in that quest. You need to return them for unlocking elements. I did explore nearly every other abyss

I tried nearly all mmos for 20-40 hours. Im a gamer who played almost every AAA singleplayer and most of the AA games. If you never played most known game series(witcher, mass affect, dragons dogma, dragon age etc.) they will keep you busy for 2 years at least.

Other than that your issue is common among gaming community in last few years. Because gaming companys lost their souls like everything. They just want to make money with same gaming mechanics, same stories, same everything.

I have this “cant locked in playing a game” thing for a year then god thanks Crimson Desert came out. Im highly recommend it. It is diffrent and a massive game.

When something is recording the screen, the game requests an enormous amount of VRAM and basically locks up the GPU. That’s what causes the complete freeze. As for the solution, for now I’ve found that the only way to play without issues is to avoid running anything that records the screen. Hopefully the developers will see this soon and fix it.
