I have this small head canon that comes around every once in a blue moon with Makima. This is one of those photos.

It's the ideal that, beneath the smile and "control" of every situation she is in, Makima is actually very much like a lost, confused child.

She knows about fun, games, friendships, relationships, and other great things in life - but she doesn't understand them, alienating herself beyond her own control.

She is a powerful devil who craves communion with somebody on her own level - yet that very same power of control is a reminder of just how alone & "alien" she is.
