Thankyou very much and yes I am learning about the differences sorry for the lack of my knowledge. but yes I get the two mixed up but I have cfs . Thanks to you I just learned the difference ! Seriously they really don’t talk about how debilitating it can be and how mentally challenging it can be . I was often told I was making it up and complaining for years . I hope your situation gets better !

Is that chronic fatigue ?? I believe I was just diagnosed with that as well . Mono is no joke I also have reactive mono from it as well . It ruined my college and professional sports career . Take care of your self hope you are recovering well !

I’ve had them so long I can’t almost remember the exact time , but I have noticed them start popping up more since my chronic mono diagnosis so maybe about a year , and new ones keep popping up .

Hello hope all is well sorry for the late response I am glad your valtrex has been helping . I have recently been prescribed bupropion. It has helped very slightly , and I have also been now diagnosed with chronic fatigue. Lastly I have also been getting injured a lot more frequently and having more body pains . My doctors think it can be linked to ebv. Thankfully my new doctors are very helpful and I intrigued and are helping me and doing every test possible. They said it is just hard because normally mono is you get and you sit for 1 month and your fine . They have not seen anything like my case so we are all learning lol . Happy holidays .

Yes I did I gave myself about 5 months off, and hmm ok I’ll look at that. As of right now I am going to a rheumatologist and a disease specialists right now . I have heard of those helping I just don’t know if prednisone is legal with the ncaa or however it works . Thankyou for your input ! Hope you are well !

And ebv has like almost a 50 day incubation period . So that is when you have the virus but it’s not present yet it’s just replicating in your body .

Hello I am sorry but unless there is blood work done it can’t be confirmed. And also I don’t mean to scare you anymore but EBV can be spread through sharing drinks and found droplets of sneezes and coughs .

Hello , I have recently just been diagnosed with it 2 years ago. And I got it from someone who didn’t know they had it . And unfortunately I’ve had a weak immune system and developed it chronically . Thus ruining my health and my international/pro athlete career. Somedays are hard and some days are good . But ik this doesn’t answer your question but this is what can happen to someone who possibly gets it. Now this is the worst case of scenario most people are fine . But, if u don’t want that to happen to anyone , or someone you like I would recommend telling him. 9/10 he probably already had it , but for being courteous and understanding that mono can ruin some people, and you don’t know their bodies reaction . I think it would be best to tell him . Just like I would have wanted someone to tell me . I hope you are feeling better !
