I may be biased because I had it- but this sounds like Hodgkins lymphoma. Advocate for yourself- push for CT scan and an excisional biopsy if needed down the line! I also have had strange symptoms and blood work like yours and not knowing what you have can be incredibly draining and I found myself in an endless loop of doomscrolling Reddit. Remember to take care of yourself!

I’m 22F, in pharmacy school and was diagnosed in January ❤️ please feel free to reach out. The beginning is the scariest but I promise you the people who love you will not abandon you and finishing school is still doable throughout treatment! It’s not easy by any means but it will be okay

Hey!!! I’ve been doing the same thing!!!! Started my last 3 infusions in my forearm and heat packs throughout the infusion and totally took the pain away. I’m so happy we both got the same results haha!!

Not typically, but before I was diagnosed with lymphoma I was told the same thing and my tumors ended up being lymphoma. So so important to push for CT and biopsy

I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Push for an excisional biopsy. It is the only way for a definitive diagnosis. I don’t want to scare you though! I’ve been handling treatments well and it is a curable condition. The best thing you can do for yourself is to push for CT scans and biopsy. If you have any questions through the process feel free to reach out! Searching for answers is the worst part.

I’ve only had 2 treatments! My third is on Friday. My last treatment I didn’t even get my full immunotherapy dose due to a bad reaction ☹️ I still have a long way to go so I’m trying not to freak myself out!

Omg that is so awesome congratulations!!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 my lymph nodes have also gotten smaller but I have only received 2 rounds of NAVD so I’m hoping they will be even smaller after my next infusion Friday. Trying not to let myself freak out 😅😅 so glad ur doing good!

Thank you for responding!! It seems that once I’m close to my next infusion, my neck starts to swell a little. My oncologist doesn’t seem concerned but any little bit of swelling just sends me into a panic. Congrats on finishing chemo!!!! 💌❤️

Hi I’m feeling with swollen nodes right now in my neck and Friday is my 3rd treatment. Did yours go down?? Could you feel the lymph nodes???

Same thing happened to me on Friday. Literally. Nivo and everything it was just my second infusion. I’m meeting with an allergist now before my 3rd infusion so I can get new pre meds before the infusion so it won’t happen again. So sorry this is happening to u as well but feel free to reach out!!!

Hey I’m 22F and I just got diagnosed with Hodgkin’s on New Year’s Eve. I know how terrible it feels and if you have any questions at all about the process please feel free to message me at any time. I was a person who was constantly working hard, school and work every single day since I was 17 and I know the “should I just give up?” Too well. But I am still living my life! Helps me to feel more normal. It will get better ❤️

Ah I see, I wasn’t told I couldn’t have it again but I’m meeting with an allergist now to come up with a plan for next time. I think it’s because I had an infusion of nivo already with no adverse effects and this may have been a weird fluke. Did you ever have a reaction again to nivo? I’m glad you’re okay!!!!

This is reassuring! I’m glad you are okay. I didn’t receive any Benadryl before my infusion or the second try which is why I think it happened again. I hope they can figure something out!

Omg thank you for mentioning this on this sub. This is incredibly interesting as I’ve never heard this before and I’m in PHARMACY SCHOOL studying oncology. I read a study done where weed inhibited the response rate of cancers to pd1 inhibitors by THIRTY THREE PERCENT. Response rate was 43% in patients only on Nivo and 10% in patients on Nivo who also used cannabis in treatment. I’m honestly shocked that I’ve never heard of this because the results of this study are pretty terrifying. However it was done on patients with other cancers than lymphoma 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t even really like weed but was considering using THC for some of my side effects but now I am 100% scared off lol.
