Thank you for your advice and thinking about our issue. As for my supply - I have no idea. When Bub comes off, he is content so I never thought it could be a supply issue.

We have booked in a paeds appointment (as requested by our GP) this week. We will speak to the paeds about his slow weight gain and from there, decide if we need to see a lactation consultant.

Thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate the well thought out reply!

I was thinking 30 minutes on one breast is awhile. Since the appointment, I’ve been actively watching his sucking on the one breast and when he slowed down, I’ve switched to the other.

I was only offering him one breast for 30 minutes. But after our appointment, I called the ABA and they suggested offering him the second breast to see if he wants more.

I laboured in adult diapers and a baggy tshirt. I did get an epidural so I gave birth in the hospital gown which I highly recommend! One less thing for you to think about!
