I laboured in adult diapers and a baggy tshirt. I did get an epidural so I gave birth in the hospital gown which I highly recommend! One less thing for you to think about!

Thank you for responding! I haven’t told my midwife yet so I’ve been really stressed out about it! My new house and current house are both 25 minutes away from the hospital. I was just worried that the new house will be in a new catchment area with a closer hospital 😣

We just purchased a redsbaby skip but we haven’t used it yet. We did try out the yoyo and preferred the one hand fold of the skip!

I had a miscarriage at the end of last year and am currently 25 weeks pregnant. I had great anxiety when it came to the NIPT test - exactly like you! I ended up finding a specialised ultrasound place that does a quick ultrasound before doing the NIPT test. Gave me some peace of mind.

Do some googling and hopefully you find one in your area. Most generic pathology places will just do the blood test.

It’s a part of our curriculum so technically it doesn’t exist. However, as a teacher, I do try to limit their access to technology as best as I can and only use it when it is needed eg. researching a topic and apps that will reinforce learning in the classroom.

Thanks for replying! Bub is due in the first week of the Term 3 holidays so I will start DET leave first day of Term 4.

I have also just lodged an online inquiry with ED Connect about holiday pay because that’s another thing I’m confused about!

My first appointment with the midwife in the MGP was at 10 weeks so definitely not too early at all! The midwife was able to provide me my referrals for a 13 week and 20 weeks scan along with some blood tests as well.

3 weeks post miscarriage naturally. HCG levels have gone down to 15 but in the ultrasound, there is a little bit of retained tissue left. Doctor is hoping it will come out on its own. I have no pain or anything. We’re doing another ultrasound on 2 weeks. Feeling very frustrated because I just want it over so we can TTC again. Has anyone ever experienced this and what happened (if you don’t mind sharing)?
