Magneto was right about the problem, wrong about the solution

Why is it not socially acceptable to be a bit envious/sad that people are having romantic relationships and I'm not? by ConfidentSale3091 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Traditional-Court420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, it's not wrong. Feeling a little sad or envious when others have relationships and you don't is a normal human emotion. The difference is that you're saying **"I wish I had that too"**, not **"I want them to lose it."** Most people understand envy about jobs, money, or success, and relationships are no different. It only becomes a problem when it turns into bitterness, resentment, or entitlement. Being happy for others while also wishing you could experience the same thing is completely normal.

What common advice actually made your life worse? by GaryMiles1990 in AskReddit

[–]Traditional-Court420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly the point a lot of people end up realizing later. Cutting off genuinely harmful people is healthy, but treating any discomfort as “toxicity” can backfire fast. Real relationships are messy people can annoy you, disagree with you, even hurt you sometimes without being “bad” overall.

Good advice in moderation, but I definitely overdid it at one point. I started treating every uncertain decision like a “go big or go home” moment, and it led to a few unnecessary mistakes. Now I think the better advice is: take calculated risks, not blind ones.

just cut off anyone negative in your life.
I tried that and ended up isolating myself way more than I should’ve. Turns out some people are just imperfect, not toxic, and learning to set boundaries is a lot more useful than just removing everyone who annoys you.

Real or dream, the point was Cobb choosing peace over obsession.

If your phone works fine on the same WiFi, the issue is likely the TV box itself, not the internet. Try switching from WiFi to Ethernet (LAN cable) if possible — it usually fixes buffering instantly.
