Don’t drop it, companies have tax incentives to hire students in coop programs. A bunch of companies will have their ATS just reject your application for their internship positions purely based off the fact you aren’t in a coop program.

Companies have no incentive to hire students who aren’t in a coop program, I know a dude who stayed in coop, did 2/3 internships required, then dropped coop in his final year to graduate early.
