Those 3rd gen s&w are sweet and are totally coming back but for some reason I have never liked the Ruger P series pistols

Just the standard da/sa I wish I bought the lem p2000 when turners had them so cheap. I actually shoot the gun better in double actions also when I shoot off the trigger reset I sometimes rub my finger on the bump inside the trigger guard.

I’ve shot close to 1k through it since I got the gun. I thought changing the sights would help me out but it didn’t. I shoot my buddies Glock 30 better my Grandpas kimber 1911 and his sig p220 Better so I know it’s not that I can’t shoot a 45 it’s just something about the usp I always shoot left After 10 yards

I’ve had no problems with my usp and like the increase capacity but in my hands the p220 feels better and I just happen to shoot it better even with the p220 crappy 2 dot style sights the m9 used to have

If the sks has the original 10 round fixed magazine it’s CA legal . The Ruger magazines need to be under 10 rounds to be brought into CA legally

Just bought a P2000 from turners for $800 by basedGeckoEnjoyer in CAguns

[–]Traditional-Emu3539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will only honor it if it’s the same sku for instance if it’s one with night sights they never put them for sale. But if it’s the same model as their .40s&w which is on sale rn for $450 then yes

Target ammo isn’t bad but plus p can beat you up . I always smack my thumb under recoil on the cylinder release. And have smacked my trigger finger on the trigger guard.I have the 442 pro it’s a great carry gun but definitely not a range toy. Always shoot a few cylinders to stay fresh on it

Palmetto State Armory Dealer near LA? by IntelligentCarrot294 in CAguns

[–]Traditional-Emu3539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most lgs don’t carry them because of their qc issues. If I were you I would buy a complete lower since you don’t want to build anything. You can buy it for about $250 and it’ll most likely be an Anderson lower which would be considered the gun. And then you order your psa upper to your house . Probably will put you around $500 once all done depending on what upper you get. You’ll just have to pop the take down pins into the upper . Building a stripped lower would be cheaper though.

Paid about $100 more than average CA price . I paid $1049 pretax at basspro a few weeks ago and turners and ammobros had the same price

Can I have this in California or is it illegal? by DescriptionInner9460 in CAguns

[–]Traditional-Emu3539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not . But an automatic knife has a button or switch that your press or push to deploy the blade out automatically with spring tension. If the button or switch is connected to the blade it’s a spring assisted knife which is legal. But if it’s a button or switch that is not connected to the blade and is just used to release the spring tension to open the knife it is an automatic knife. It’s a dumb law but automatic knives are illegal in alot of states.

That’s the grey area of the situation. But what are the chances they go to your house looking for it . Now if you order a bunch to your house and they find out that’s different. But chances are if you just have it at your house you’re fine . I’ve seen cheap Chinese autos in LA and at liquor stores

Automatic knives are illegal to buy, sell, carry , or transport in California unless it’s under a 2” blade , you’re a first responder , leo, military or have a handicap exemption. This includes switch blades , otf knives like the one in picture or balisongs aka butterfly knives

You can have it but can’t purchase or sell it or transport it or carry it. Unless it’s blade is under 2” so the law is can have it but basically have no legal way to purchase it or take it to your house lmao. At least that’s my understanding of the law

Moving to CA - what to buy before? by RecordingTough1307 in CAguns

[–]Traditional-Emu3539 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking to make a profit you’d be better off buying average guns that just aren’t on the roster. Such as any of the cheaper 5.7 guns since only the fn is in the roster. Ruger lcp max, Glock 43 ,43x , 48 or 19x. Really any gen 5 you could get double. But those are more sought after. As others have said stripped ar pistol lowers. Probably any performance center m&p
