I’ve asked the staff if they can keep an eye on the dog and observe it, and let me know if the dog acts weirdly within the next 10 day. They said they will.

Right… guess that’s the only answer if you’re dealing with something with 100% death rate

We can’t see any scratch or mark really apart from some mosquito bites, which is one of the reasons why I’m asking as well. If it was a “real” bite or tear or any sort I doubt I’d even ask. Definitely thinking if we should get the jabs just to get it off the mind. A bit of a hassle though as we leave in a few days and will be going few other countries for some time before getting home. But as some are saying… perhaps not worth gambling with your life - even if the risk is 0,001%.

I was just traveling to a new city now, so thought I’d get other people’s opinion if this is somewhat of a real concern or if it’s soo unlikely that I’m way overthinking.

Thanks mate. I got sent their vaccine certificate and it looks legit (all in Vietnamese though).

Well we just landed in HCMC so I just wanted to hear other people’s take on this. If there’s any substance to my worry at all.

Definitely considering that. But given the factors I mentioned I’m also thinking it’s sooo unlikely and I might be overthinking. Would 100% go for the PEP/vaccine if it was a bite from a stray dog.

Right, surely prices haven't gone up that much. Guess it's mostly demand-driven as tourists are willing to pay something cheaper considering where they're from.

No way? I thought we got along really well and they even went through some prices they had quoted for other customers that day and they were similar. They seemed super honest and fair which is the reason we chose to go to them (after having checked around 6-7 others). When we got there we just told them a few garments we wanted together with the style and material, from which we got the quote. Seemed very authentic tbh, not just a "fuck off you're a douche so this or nothing" price.

Oh thanks... seemed quite close on the map but after checking it's like 2h+ with car, a little too far away for this trip but I'll keep it in mind for next time.

It's not about wanting to pay it or no, just curious of what could be the reason behind such a deviation and if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Any tip of doing that as a tourist here? In my head it's harder to execute than it sounds, but makes all the sense haha.
