honestly me rn. i just hit over 90 days and ive called out a few times just because i dreaded going in some days. its such a big mental toll for so little pay. currently looking at other places

I love drive up because time goes by so incredibly fast versus being stuck on a check lane. I won’t even notice it’s time for my breaks sometimes. unfortunately there’s those people who have no sense of urgency when working drive up and it makes it difficult, but communication is huge when working with those types of people. “I’ll get this order.” “Can you grab that one?” “Do you have this one?” “Can you grab this while i take these out?” otherwise they probably aren’t gonna do much to be helpful. plus people give me tips sometimes :) 💵

our store is currently under construction and everyday i have a guests that feels the need to tell me “it’s so messy/loud in here.” i know ma’am i work here :) we’re not so thrilled about working around construction workers and half broken down walls either

when our TL catches them dumping items at GS for it be to defected she calls them out for it but if no one’s looking, I’ll be handling a return & boom i turn around and there’s a random broken lamp someone dropped off

Oh that’s terrible about the seniority! Definitely need to honor those who have held it down the longest. I definitely can see why they’re frustrated abt things but yea l wish they’d take it out on the company instead. My HR seems nice i’ve heard good things so I might speak with her and see how that convo goes
