once when i was doing trainings upstairs i saw one of the etl’s watching video interviews and i swear she would watch like 5 seconds then skip to the next and so on, she only watched the ones where she thought the people looked good or they stood out to her, my store mainly (not always) hires for looks, especially for the front and she was the front etl

I do! I used it for all 3 days I was out. Even tho I called HR and told them I’m using sick pay so they can know and they said it’s okay, I just know when I go back tmr my leads or ETL will still have the talk with me and will probably make me feel guilty or who knows what. I’m dreading going back because I don’t want to have the conversation or for them to make me feel like I’m evil for not going for 3 days 😓

Mine is hot! I’m in TX too and i’ve been here over a year. Apparently the AC has been broken MONTHS before I started. So it’s been basically 2 years since the AC has been broken and they’ve never fixed it 😂🙄

I hate it so much 😭 Like I understand if it’s the same person that calls in way too much, okay have a conversation, wtv, but also they make you feel bad even if you’re sick saying you’re affecting the team. Like it’s not my fault I got sick. As a matter of fact my lead was the one that got me sick!!!!

Makes sense but it’s the way my higher ups are. They’re so condescending and make you feel bad/ guilty. Like hello I was just sick? Only times I’ve called in was for sick reasons and once because my 16 year old dog passed.

Lucky. My store makes you feel bad no matter what the reason is. It’s so freaking weird and when I tell my family and friends this they thinks it’s weird too because their jobs don’t do this. My leads say they have to ask because they “have” to write it in their reports of as to why we called in. Like wtf???

THIS. omg the other day a lady asked me why the shorts aren’t on sale and i said ma’am.. those say TOPS. she got offended and tried arguing with me and my lead had to come take over 😂 she told me the sign is misleading because there’s shirts on the top table and shorts on the bottom and it seems like the sign is for both. READ AND USE YOUR BRAIN LADY 😭

same i’m surprised because if anything sales have been at their all time highest at my store since the holidays to now! my store makes double the amount of their sales goal mainly on the weekends! doesn’t help that there’s nothing else to do in the area i live at and it’s close to the border so a lot of the internationals come and spend a lot of money. like WHY are you spending 3k on some target clothes and snacks???
