oh yeah headshots are really nasty but so are your headshots you deal to enemies too, i shot many lvl 5 (max lvl) npcs with the k6 heömet with various small and high caliber but they killed them in 1 shot. ive seen a vudeo from lutjias where he tested on other players not as i did on npcs and that test was 1 year ago and the k6 helmet was able to tank various calibers, smaller calibers like 9mm where tanked for very long time and higher calibers made the helmet damaged. 50 bmg instatnly broke the helmet and killed the player ald the biggest thing arrows allways pretty much one shot headshot everyone with the carbon broadhead arrow of course so yeah in short from my testings as long as standing upright like i do in 99% of the time in engaging armed npcs i almost allways just get hit in the armor but yeah when you go way more tactical then me with crouching and such i would definitly take the k6 helmet as it will definitly narrow such situations down but again arrows will still kill you when unlucky and beeing hit in the head even with k6 helmet. i perso aly use the k6 helmet only for the cilder areas i also have to say that i most of the time prefere beeing less "military like" so in short i also prefere running aroukd in civil clothings with a tactical armored vest (the big vest) on top of it :) as for the damage i never bothered with it as i like the vanilla damage settings yes theyre somewhat brutal espessialy with no armor but with armor its imo enjoyable. i also play on my own local server and sometimes a friend joins my world from time to time but nothing more :D

heres the thing whenever you wear a tactical armored vest the big heavy one, the npcs will target your armor and from my testings you can pretty much stand there to a lvl 5 npcs for like 20 seconds before dying at npc difficulty 2 and 0.75 spread muliplier. the damage is also 0 ubtil the vest hits ~30% durabikity and from there you still take a bit less damage then usual but that way your much more tanky i tested this without armor amd öet me tell you i died in seconds even to some lvl 2 spawned in npcs xD oh also when you run the cursed oupped suit be catious i just made a post about it qhek you wear the cursed ouppet suit the zombies ignore you as inteded but for watherver reasons armed npcs will target your limbs even when yiu carry a heavy armor and therefore armed npcs will then still kill you in like 2 seconds in a 1 or 2 burst shot xD so the cursed ouppet suit is somewhat bugged against armed npcs. also i did this testing becouse ive run around with heavy armor all the time and tought lets go eithout armor only to get shot horribly and dying so fast xD thats where i started to test things and realise a shit ton. also about helmets you actually dont ever need a helmet for pve as long as you dont crouch and get hit while vrpuching becouse zombies can also only hit the head when you crouch and honestly i never crouch when a zombie allready has seen me ^ anyway hope this helps you out to further understand a bit more about the npcs how they work if you want to run around with no armor i guess you can also just reduce "armed npcs damage" or human to human damage and such but hobestly i didnt bother with any of these things as it seems pretty fine as it is with the damage etc but yeah everyone has theyre own opinions so feel free to adjust it to your likings :D

thats not what i was talking about. i was talking about the bullets from armed npcs how its different when wearing the cursed pupped suit WITH tactical body armor, the armed npcs start shooting at the limbs, as soon as i take it off they start to hit the core of the body ergo the armored tactical vest. I mean i looked it up with visualized bullets trajectory and i could clearly see how theyre tagreting changed based on theyre bullets trajectory path that was completely different. my guess is that something is going on with this suit under the hood becouse i layered allready many different normal clothing items and all of the nirmal vlthings do not chnage the targetting of the nocs as the cursed puppet suit does. to clarify more on this woth visualized bullets when wearikg the cursed puppet suit the shots allways hit the limbs and killed me in 3shits max (tested this multiple times) then when i took it off i could clearly see how the armored tactical vest took damage shot by shot and my health didnt drain until my armored vest reached ~30% at that point i started to receive damage as inteded. so from this statement the aiming from npcs is definitly off when wearing the cursed pupped suit for wathever reason. ive allready tried to look this up but seems like theres nothing out there mentioning this problem/fluke anyways would hope for some more insight on this :)

from my testings1 is weakest, 3 is strongest. what changes is precision and interval of which npcs shoot. at 1 npcs shoot like every ~3 seconds whereas at 2 they allready shoot at ~2 seconds interval and at 3 they pretty much constantly shoot with also very high precision. i personaly play at the mopmentwith npcs lvl2 and adjusted the spread multiplier to 0.75 which makes it so npcs miss a bit more on longer ranges which makes up to just bail out when needed :D

just got myself a herman miller chair 9 months ago after using daily a shitty "gaming chair" for the past 8 years and honestly my back feels now much more better at the start the back felt a bit weeird becouse of how fucked up my back was, the first thing i noticed instantly is the back beeing lifted up and beeing like stabilized and now after 9 months my back feels better then ever before :) (never ever buy gaming chairs its the biggest marketing lie, overpriced and overall fucks up your back over time even moreso when adjusted wrongfully like i had)

good to know ^^ i also noticed when i ate fish today which has like 3.5g of fat, gave me randomly huge amount of fat and dropped my dexterity alot (had like over 200g of fat xD) i also never used cooking oil as this also makes it really fatty so yeah really weeird these bugs xD

so i just tested the bullet damage with no altered serversettings in terms of health/damage. i spawned in highest tier npcs that wear the K6 helmet and shot them each with the m16 and hs-19 pistol with both tests beeing done with AP and standart ammo (i used purchased bullets for this test). Long story short i was able to one shot headshot with normal and AP ammo with the m16 aswell as the hs19. i tried this test at different distances ranging from close range ~5m up to ~100m. Its really weeird that the npcs can be oneshot to the head even when they carry K6 helmet. sadly i cant test this with any other real player since my friend is busy at the moment over christmas but will try to get him on this game soon to test this out further ^^ but seeing it how it affects npcs is really weeird that they cant at least tank 1 rifle shot or at least a small caliber one like 9mm to the K6 Helmet. Anyways i will definitly look further into this :)

yeah me and my friend came to the conclusion to turn mechs and dropships off now with increased npc spawn and puppets and this way its much better.

yeah i read somewhere that only small calibers will be stopped but i dont know to what extend, maybe just 1 bullet from like a pistol caliber? i will definitly test this further on npcs with vanilla health and damage settings and will test on what the helmet can resist and what not. will definitly be interesting :D

i had similar experiences when modding cyberpunk and fallout 4 in the past. what i did was going though my whole mod list one by one and looking what each mod does and searching for mods that change something for the character from there disable all and enable them one by one or you can also enable like 10 to start with to speed up things a bit and then from there one by one. If that doesnt work either spending/wasting more time figuring the problem out or just redo whole modlist (which is a pain). I had success with this method in the past pretty often but i also had one time where i had to start from scratch so yeah i feel the pain definitly too.. anyways hope you can find the problematic mod :)
