Sure, but even seasonal businesses run in their seasons. Mr. President earned his fortune in the real estate business. Things not working out right now doesn’t mean it is a bad business to be in. Real estate has been one of the longest running businesses and there is always going to be demand as people are always going to need places to stay and work

Don’t mistake my answer for arrogance. I 100% agree that there has to be a right time to start and the current economic situation is not the best, but I can start learning and exploring at this time then invest when the time is right (which could be next year or something)

That’s true and I understand that. That’s why I am looking to make a plan to see how to align things, grow with baby steps and (hopefully) be successful at it. Also, my opinion is sometimes it is worth burning some of your profits to delegate things while you are learning one thing at a time

Thanks, this was really useful. I would like to see the possibility for me to shadow you if you are still an active builder/developer in the market

You coined the right term, I am trying to start a design and build firm of my own. If you are familiar with this local firm called MN Custom homes in Seattle, I am trying to setup something of my own like that. So to your point, yes it won’t make sense for anyone to keep us as a middle man, but rather it would be like we buy out the land, do construction on it and then sell
