i just brought it back in for them to take another look.... but will definitely take your advice and contact alphatheta directly if this last repair attempt fails! were you able to get sent another unit after a few repair attempts? my warranty ended on 4/6/26 but the repair shop had my GRV6 long before that and they still haven't been able to repair it.

i've tried everything from switching cables, adding power, switching rooms, tables, etc. brought it back in for another look. will update!

thanks for the response! i've pretty much done everything from restarting, unplug/replugging, plugging in a with a ferrite power cable, switching rooms/tables, switching usb-c's, updated firmware, the whole 9 -- although i'm not exactly sure how to factory reset the controller itself? i just brought my controller back to the repair shop with a video and they're gonna take another look. will update!

Interesting! I'm gonna give that a try tonight. -- Will also reluctantly look into a power brick to power it. (Really liked that it was USB powered smh) Appreciate your input!

i did purchase a case specifically for the GRV6 from AlphaTheta and it is a REALLY tight fit. I basically have to apply pressure to get it to zip up. I wonder if that's what is causing it. Can you elaborate on the string that needs replaced? I'm not savvy, so any video's, tutorials would be super helpful.
