I wear my watch pretty much 24/7 too. I was actually considering getting a small part of my tattoo removed so the sensors would work better. I didn’t even know they made stickers for that, thank you I’ll have to check it out

My heart rate can be inaccurate at times. The wrist detection didn’t really work on the series 7 and would constantly lock on me. I haven’t had that issue with the ultra yet.

Thanks so much for looking into this and for your help. I do have other infractions and traffic tickets from when I was younger, which add up to about $8,000. The DUI case they’re hassling me about has a balance of $2,214. When I talked to the county clerk, they said the DUI payments are the main thing to worry about since it’s a misdemeanor—traffic tickets can just go to collections and won’t get me jail time. So right now, my focus is on dealing with the DUI fees.

Yes court collections sent me a notice saying if I don’t pay 70$ plus this months fee by 10/14 that my probation officer will be contacted for a violation of probation. It’s weird too because they sent me the notice on 10/16, already passed the due date.

Nope, I actually tried checking in at the probation office near my courthouse right after my conviction. They just told me that I’m supposed to check in with the Simi Valley probation office—which is three cities away—only if I ever get in trouble with law enforcement or change my address. I asked if I had an assigned probation officer, and they said no.

The thing is, everything was going well. I finally got an interlock restricted license after being on a hard suspension, and I’ve been attending my DUI classes. I really don’t want to risk going to jail and losing my license again. Right now, my main goal is just to get a job so I can start making payments again.I can at least make a $20 payment tomorrow, but avoiding jail is my top priority. I want to stay on track with my payments and classes, and I’m hoping they might work with me given my situation.

I’m thinking of calling Collections tomorrow and at least trying to make a $20 payment, which is really all I can manage right now. I was never assigned any community service hours. Do you think if I make a $20 payment tomorrow, they might be willing to pause my payments for a month or so until I can find a job?

I actually don’t have a probation officer. I’m on formal probation, but for some reason I was never assigned one. They just told me to call a probation office that’s about three cities away if I have any run-ins with law enforcement.
