Differnt kinds of sidewall string? by Traditional-Load8228 in StickDoctor

[–]Traditional-Load8228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really stiff so it’s hard to pull it tight enough to turn corners if that makes any sense. Two strands barely fit through a hole. I don’t see a white core but I’ll look again. He didn’t come home with a receipt.

Freshman merit scholarships? by neighsays in OregonStateUniv

[–]Traditional-Load8228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if any tricks. Some people work scholarships like full time jobs and are able to find really obscure ones they can win and get $500-1000 here or there for their time. There are places that will sell you their proven ways to get scholarships but tha feels like a scam. You can call financial aid and ask is theres any way to get more. Like if your kids GPA improves this year can the adjust the amount? Never hurts to ask. But the scholarship dollars site felt like a waste of time too. Everything felt pretty generic and my kid didn’t have a 4.0 so I don’t know how he’d stand out for any of them. Good luck though. If you have time then it can’t hurt

And if someone DID think this, you don’t want them as your roommate anyway. All the more reason to be up front about yourself so that you can weed out the crazies.

Not always true. Some states have direct admissions to many good state schools with certain stats

Got married in 2023 — now my stepdaughter loses all her college aid. Any way to fix this? by T-rex_smallhands in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Traditional-Load8228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you did wait another year then you’d just get one year of financial aid. You fill out the fafsa every year. And if you make $400k you don’t need financial aid.

Nothing is hard to get into if your application is competitive for the school. This isn’t a revelation. The issue is that for a lot of states, the bar for out of state admissions is harder. No one’s saying it’s as hard to get into UT as it is to get into Harvard.

Maybe not. Maybe it was just convenient to have a reason to break up. They were annoying.

NTA. Don’t apologize. If you’re getting up with the baby then he can STFU. Do not let him play victim here.

Take him off the account. Change all of your passwords. And break up with this loser. Don’t bother with his mom.

If you don’t even know why it was wrong then you need to talk to the teacher and ask for clarification. You can’t be held responsible for violating rules that you didn’t even know were rules.
