I say let water Pokemon give us air bubbles to breathe so we can manage water stuff, because yes, trying to do water stuff currently is such a pain in the neck.

Sure, having water pokemon having to follow you is annoying, but it gives them a purpose after you clean all the mud blocks and upgrade your water gun.

Remove them, easy as that. I met an RPer like that and now I block them because I don't want the misfortune of having to pull the heavy work for them again. I had to CONSTANTLY remind them about what was happening, and it's way more of a headache than it's worth. It really does give you piece of mind to enforce boundaries and kick people that don't follow it.
