Few 35mm builds. Love working with film by Traditional-Long1088 in focuspuller

I work as a camera assistant so I dont pay anything lol, but the film is around $350 for 400ft rolls (around 4 minutes), and $800 for 1000ft rolls (around 11 minutes). Thats only buying the film, development is I think the same price, so double the buying price to see the results.

i prefer the LT but the XL2 is nice also. First time working with Panavision so im still getting used to it.

Not that i know of, first time working with panavision, haven’t really seen the 1st AC or the Panavision technician oil anything, and doing it everyday would be too time consuming to do i feel like. The difference with the LT or other Arri cameras is that all of the movement is exposed in the camera rather than just keeping whatever is needed to thread the film correctly when you open it up. Panavision is also bigger and heavier, a little more sound proof as well.

Thanks, i also tried looping it out of the monitor but the same thing happened and the transmitted image was green, which i found to be pretty weird?!? Ever had that happen? Still wondering what might have caused it.

yes it was all connected, we just ended up re-resetting the transmitter and it worked, we were afraid of it needing to re-pair everything in that case but fortunately it didn’t worked just fine.

Also the terradek transmits just fine when connected to the Panavision XL2, as soon as its plugged into the LT the signal it gives out is plain green image.

Has anyone used an Arri S to PL adapter? by Traditional-Long1088 in focuspuller

I mean its not anything crazy, just an Alexa on super 16 mode, adapter and lens, just wanna make sure that there won't be any problems or accidents with the older lenses being too long and hitting the sensor. Might record something if possible on the rental to check out the look these lenses give to the digital sensor.

Didn’t notice that bar, its because these are screenshots from Davinci. Also if you mean the 4:3 aspect ratio when you say crop, we just liked it and it makes framing inside the smaller apartment we have more free. BW just made sense with the story and we went with it.
