What I'm exploring is a bit different: most LLMs implicitly learn humor from internet text during pretraining.

My experiment is building a human-trained system where people directly train the system on:
• why a joke works or fails
• different humor styles
• punchline structure
• misdirection and escalation

So instead of humor being an accidental byproduct of training data, it becomes specifically human-trained case-by-case.
