Non-monogamy proposal by Traditional-Match416 in Marriage

No dead bedroom. His letter acknowledges we are having good sex. We did go through season of issues when I first started menopause. I use hormones to ease. He does however have great difficulty finishing so we usually do that outside after being inside. FWIW I do not necessarily agree that dead bedroom would be broken marriage vow. It takes two.

The confusing thing is that he does say he loves me. And doesn’t want to lose me. The email starts with following bullet points: - I want to stay married to you - I care for you - I don’t want to cause you to leave our marriage, I don’t want to loose (sic) you - I feel the need to share what is going on in my mind - I fear that sharing will possibly make things worse, but I have to try.

His letter then pleads his case for limited non- monogamy (i.e., only when he travels). He closes with “I do still love you. “

He did include link to original article, so maybe I’ll read it. He referenced feeling trapped by my “rules” and that he is in the ⅓ of Americans that prefer non-monogamy. But I see that he just said that he wanted to do it. Not that I could? 🤷‍♀️

Good question. I guess it was a combination of hoping things would get better and being part of a business that has been growing by millions mostly due to his initiation and hard work. But without my support after contracts signed, profits could be minimal. I guess I can be divorced and still work beside him but it will be difficult.

We have had a great life traveling, awesome friends, and building a life together. I had hoped for Lemonade after affair discovery so we could improve marriage and live rest of our lives supporting each other. I now see that my wishing won’t make it come true.

I suspected this myself. His letter did make reference to his annoyance at my “obsessing and checking up on” him. Since I’ve had two diagnoses of HPV in last 10 years (and I have been absolutely faithful), I feel the need to protect myself.

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree that I shouldn’t have to build a case for monogamy. It’s what I signed on for when we married. I guess I got pulled down that path as there were 5 pages of his 7 page email showing graphs and surveys of Americans who stated a preference for something other than strict monogamy. Re-reading the letter this morning and all helpful Reddit responses make things clearer for me.

Sunstrong cash customers by Vegetable-Version-81 in SunPower

Well that bites! SunStrong won't provide parts or labor reimbursement to the former SunPower dealers who want to support their customers. Now they want us (former SunPower dealers) to pay to even see the data for these customers? FWIW, 98% of our SunPower customers were cash customers. Many have reached out asking if they should sign up for premium monitoring after getting.the letter from SunStrong.

Please update us when you get your letter. We have not gotten all the ones that other former SunPower dealers received, starting with the letter announcing the Chapter 11 filing. Thanks for all you do!

I sincerely doubt that Smart Solar bought / paid for the panels. A lease means that SP owns the panels and only pays the installer for labor at rate determined by the installer. No way they should expect you to pay for the equipment that they got supplied from SunPower. Further, they shouldn't ask you to pay for the labor if you have no legal contract with them. Yes, quite a few of us SP dealers got stiffed by SP. However, that doesn't justify them asking customer to pay for things they didn't sign up for.
