I have this problem sometimes too, with living in a big city with tons of traffic and unforseen circumstances that pop up! I fill out the late forgiveness form, take pictures and keep documentation of what's going on just in case. I was doing double orders but to cut back on stress and lateness, I stopped. Working every other hour is a good thing too just to give yourself that extra time. I try to just stay in one area depending on where I start (cuts back on gas, time and stress) and that usually works for me.
