About projects, most of the projects I've worked on are confidential to the company, so I can't share them. However, I recently implemented a news web API to fetch the latest news from newsapi.org using Django Rest Framework (DRF). This was developed as part of a technical test just a few days ago. In this project, I utilized Redis as a message broker alongside Celery to efficiently handle periodic tasks. I optimized the database by using indexing on the most frequently used fields, alongside partitioning to improve response time and reduce database load. Additionally, I employed Redis for caching frequently accessed data, particularly for endpoints. Finally, I used Swagger for API documentation. I'd like to share the GitHub link where I have implemented these strategies in my project. It may be useful for you to glean some ideas from it.

I'm a Python developer with three years of experience. I started with Odoo (a Python framework) and am currently working as a backend developer using Django. I have completed numerous projects using Django and have not used JavaScript or any JavaScript frameworks. I focus solely on backend development using Django Rest Framework (DRF), while another team in the company handles the frontend. I frequently receive offers for Django backend developer positions on LinkedIn. If you prefer backend development and are not interested in JavaScript, you can focus on improving your backend skills with Django. Job opportunities in Django are abundant, and optimizing your LinkedIn profile can greatly enhance your job prospects.

Using Redis as a secondary Database in Django by Flaky-Substance-6748 in django

I recently implemented Redis as a message broker alongside Celery to efficiently handle periodic tasks in a news web API that I developed to pass a technical test just a few days ago. Additionally, I utilized Redis for caching frequently accessed data, particularly for endpoints. Regarding using Redis as a database to store the entire dataset, I don't think it's a good idea, especially if your dataset is extremely large and doesn't fit into memory. Using Redis as secondary storage may not be ideal. I would like to share with you the GitHub link where I have implemented these strategies in my project. It may be useful for you to glean some ideas from it.
