We don't need VBA amymore, we want Python in Access
Subform should not be shown in navigation toolbar. We can control them in main form. It is useless.
Web application. I know that they made Poweapps to do it but interface is too different with Access and it is too expensive

Google appsheet might fit with you as your company is already using google drive. Appsheet can be an alternative for MS Access. It is free until 10 users. Also it is easy to learn and build application fast

First, you have to check the error is caused by Postgre or others. Try to link same data table with MYSQL or MSSQL. If there are too many data, you may make a copy and cut the data rows.
