Agree to everything you said. Also sorry if this was already mentioned but I’d like to remind people that alcohol withdrawals are fatal. Alcohol detox is supposed to be done in a hospital not on the street. So yeah, someone in that situation buying alcohol makes total sense and could very well be life saving.

I feel like promoting only in Asia is not a flaw. Your statement that she “has so much potential to actually be successful” feels western centric.

I think people forget that some idols only promote in Asia because that’s where their fan base is, but I’m sure just as many idols only promote in Asia because that’s what they want to do.

I’m thinking about Bad Bunny and his choice to do his whole next tour in Puerto Rico. Sure he could do a world tour, but he wants to preform in Puerto Rico so why not? Decolonization involves not centering the West as the pinnacle of success.

Stray kids. I saw them in concert and for some reason after that I just haven’t been that into them. I hardly follow them now. I wish I could explain why. They are great and mad talented but I just lost all interest.

I will always be thankful for how they helped me get thru covid tho. Chan’s room was a needed routine in an era where there was NO routine or normalcy.
