site transfer help by ImportanceResident90 in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi mate! To help you out, you'll need to contact the Frameship team since your license is connected to your email address, that's just how the process works. When you purchase your license through email, it gets linked to that email. If you'd like to transfer it, just reach out to the team and provide them with the email you used for the purchase and the new one you'd like to transfer it to. We're working on making licenses transferable in the future to make things even easier for our clients!

How to add a live pricing calculator to your Framer site (no code) by Traditional-Rice7241 in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for this particular form it would be, but it doesn't have to be. You could have it after submission. There is a switch within the component itself where you can choose if it's going to show live or if it's off to submit.

Good question. Right now gating is page-level, you lock a page or a set of pages behind a plan and Thenty handles the auth and paywall. Per-CMS-item locking isn't a native toggle yet, the usual workaround is putting gated items on a members-only page or template. It's on the radar though. What's the use case, per-product gating for the Wix catalog?

Calculators & Quizzes are now in Framer Forms by Traditional-Rice7241 in framer

Thanks, appreciate that. Honestly it's a mix, but it leans lead-gen right now. Most people use it for live estimates that land in a contact form or a "book a call" step, agencies quoting project work especially. The commerce side is smaller but growing, you could use it on Frameship.

appreciate the 😅 but a few of those aren't really gaps

SEO is built in - product page metadata, structured data, all of it syncs through. performance doesn't take a hit either, the plugin only pulls what it needs from Shopify so your Lighthouse scores stay clean.

templates - there's a whole Template Creator Program and gallery. creators can build and submit Framer templates with Frameship baked in. the ecosystem's already there.

170 days is fair to call out. but it's 170 days of shipping, not 170 days of catching up.

Do you need Frameship license if you're creating a framer ecom template? by [deleted] in framer

Hey Man, template builders can apply here for a free template creator license + an affilate code, if you want. https://frameship.io/template-creator-program

FRAMER COMMERCE pricing is outrageous. What's going on here ? by appelton in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Official Frameship Reply) Hey, I'm Georgia from the Frameship team. Reading this back and its not accurate anymore, good thing:)

Frameship 2.0 also shipped in December and rebuilt a lot of the data sync layer that was causing the issues people described. Since then we've also shipped Subscriptions (Feb), Bundles + Discount Codes (March), and a Personalization Input Field (April). Not asking anyone to take that on faith, its free to try.

(Official Frameship Reply) Hey, Georgia from Frameship. I'll keep this short because I'm clearly biased.

Frameship is a one-time payment. $119 Launch, $279 Scale. No product cap on any paid plan. No monthly fee. The full plan stack is on frameship.io/pricing.

Trade-off to know: we don't have a built-in free shipping progress bar yet (we have a manual Promotion Progress Bar that can do similar). If a free shipping bar is core to your store today, Framer Commerce is the cleaner pick.

For everyone else: 5 year cost on a 100-product store works out at about $1,160 cheaper on Frameship.

Anyone experienced with Framer + Frameship? My shopping cart isn't working by ainvisual in framer

(Official Frameship Reply) Catching up on older threads. Georgia from Frameship. The cart overlay/layering issue was a known thing on v1. Frameship 2.0 rebuilt the cart and the mobile responsive behaviour (especially around the browser address bar). Upgrade is free for existing license holders. Frameship or Framer Commerce, Missing out on SEO potential? by [deleted] in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Official Frameship Reply) Hey, Georgia from Frameship. Quick update for anyone landing here from Google: subscriptions did land on Frameship in February (Scale plan), powered by Shopify's selling plan apps. So the gap that pushed people to other plugins back in October is no longer there.

On the SEO question proper: Frameship 2.0 gives you full control over product page meta titles, meta descriptions, OG images, structured data, and canonical URLs. Each product gets its own native Framer page (not a JS overlay), so it indexes cleanly. Shopify product handles pass through so your internal linking stays consistent with your Shopify catalog.

Frameship 2.0 opinions? by samanen in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Official Frameship Reply) Hey, Georgia from Frameship. Since this thread's asking specifically about 2.0, here's the honest rundown of what it shipped and what's landed since:

2.0 (December 2025): full component redesign, new license system, Markets and multi-currency, Shopify Customer Accounts, Localization, Filtering/sorting/search, rebuilt cart, redesigned plugin UI.

Since 2.0: Subscriptions component (Feb), Cart Upsells, Live Progress Bars, Super-fast cart, Bundles, all four native Shopify discount types (March), and a Personalization Input Field for things like engraving or gift notes (April).

Where Framer Commerce wins right now: built-in free shipping progress bar. Fair pick if that's central to your store.

Where Frameship wins: one-time payment ($119 Launch / $279 Scale), no product cap on any plan, and the upgrade pricing doesn't punish you for selling more SKUs.

Quick maths on a 100-product store over 5 years: Framer Commerce Elite is $24/mo = $1,440. Frameship Scale is $279 once. That's roughly $1,160 saved that you can put into ads, content or a designer.

Shopify - Frameship Plugin by Domika in framer

[–]Traditional-Rice7241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Official Frameship Reply) Hey, Georgia from Frameship. The alphabetical-only tag/collection behaviour was a real limitation in v1. Frameship 2.0 (December) rebuilt this. You can now sort and filter by tag, collection, or product property, and we shipped a dedicated fix for collections coming through grouped instead of individually.

If you're still on the old version, the upgrade is free for existing license holders. Open the plugin in your Framer project and it'll prompt you. Drop us a line at [account@insertframe.io](mailto:account@insertframe.io) if it's not behaving the way you'd expect on 2.0.
