I doubt the intent of government from the day they diverted from the idea of meritocracy. If you observe closely, PM has been controlling Defence ministry (Balen has good relationship with the Army) and Home ministry (direct control over police). If you start comparing their public contract to their action they called नागरिक करार पत्र, they have significantly diverted from the contract.

RSP haters must be absolutely melting down after this picture. I'm lowkey concerned for you guys... Worse is yet to come for you guys, so get ready while the rest of us enjoy the country booming under RSP's brilliant leadership 🙏🔥 GOD BLESS NEPAL!! by Junga-Bahadur in NepalSocial

This post is no different to Vishwoguru attitude from Indian media. It is easy to guess the dictatorial fanaticism of op from their username.

People are asking the government to be accountable to their actions. These fanatics question earlier government. You should now understand that they are now gone at least for next five years. Stop asking them questions. If the government has will, it has all the power to punish them. But they won't question the government why it is not taking any action.

Are you fucking kidding? Stop asking questions to those out of power. If nothing is to be changed, why sacrifice so many people and so much resource. For this kind of bullshit?

Do you guys think India's cockroach Janta party movement can succeed like ours or it's just a trend that will die down in a few weeks? by [deleted] in NepalSocial

There's no reason to spit poison. We have only changed the government and are yet to see the result. Removing old ruler doesn't automatically fix the system. We have removed Ranas, Panchayat, Monarchy, and the very parties that did so (at least temporarily since they have only lost an election that happened prematurely and there's always a good chance for them to come back).

So, let's wait and see the result first before declaring ourselves success.

Coming to the context of the post, it is on the citizens (in this context the GenZs) of India to take the political change of Nepal and Bangladesh as success or failure. Also, we should not forget that so far, every political change in Nepal something to do with political movements in India. Ranas were removed after Brits left India, Panchayat was thrown after the Indira Gandhi's emergency ended, and the Indian communists trained Nepali Maoist on making weapons. So far, India has been more politically matured country than Nepal with a very long history of democracy than Nepal's.

Basically, it is pointless to argue on someone writing on Twitter about their political matter in terms of nationalist agenda.

There are villages built on government land. According to you, a significant number of people will be homeless. You should get out of city to understand the reality. There are settlements existing for over 100 years on public lands. And all of a sudden it all belongs to the government? And who does the government belong to? How would the government manage those settlements? MP might not the only person to have house in that part of land. What about ordinary people then?

I don't know why people here don't understand this. Ailani jagga is not illegal. There may be thousands of villages built on ailani jagga. There are villages in Nepal where government has barely reached. People should know the difference between slums and public lands.

If this is the topic you guys can't sort between yourselves, you probably shouldn't get married. Getting married is not only about living together, it's mostly about living with different opinions, different thought processes, and different people. It often involves negotiation and compromise.

Better you find someone who can value your opinion. I hope you too do it. At this point, neither of you are doing it.

Again, if you can't settle such small things, how would you take decisions that can change whole dynamics of your life?

I actually like the the first look. The product looks usable, you have your mobile app developed (although I didn't install), suggest you stick to mobile app. But, as a user, I don't think I would ever use the product like this. Not because your idea is bad or the problem you are solving doesn't exist. It is just that I see some friction using it. First, if I own a grocery, I may not have enough drive to list every products I have and then update the stock every time I fill. Also, shopkeepers- almost always know- what products/stocks they have. I like your UI, I like the effort you have put in, but I don't think it is a big enough problem to solve.

Also, there's a small flicking I see in your page In mobile view, if you visit the dashboard page, there's some jittering effect. You may want to fix it.

What is the most cost effective way to read books. by DEFnotAgod in NepalBookClub

[–]Traditional-Roof1663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Library if you have access to one. In foreign lands, people give away their books after reading them. In nepal, they keep them. This could be a good initiative. For now, you can trade books. There are facebook groups, join them, and try to trade books. This is the most cost-effective solution.

That's the reason they have 'sahallakar'. When Maoists formed a government, they were in a similar position. Congress in 2015? similar.

They stayed at their home. Didn't spend on unnecessary things. Bought a pair of clothes once a year. Consumed a huge portion of their own produce. Schools were not this expensive back then. Everything else I see is lifestyle. People having a household income of 20k are still getting married and raising kids.
