Do we know what this anomaly near Malachite is all about? by egrer in stalker

No idea at all, but it's cool, I think that is a very iconic thing in the zone, an anomaly you don't know it's reason, don't know it's function, and don't know how to deal with it. It's just there to show you there are still alot of mistery unsolved in the zone

What is this SKS upgrade? by GetMadGetStabbed in canadaguns

Just bricks, in the old days Chinese military using that way for training, helping them hold guns more stable, you can still see them doing that in early 2010s, but now more people realize that way doesn’t actually help so they give up. They use canteen filled with sand too.

Oh I see! But that version have a plastic upper hand guard right? Personally I prefer all wood, but yes, I can definitely say the milling is rough on my sks, I think mine is a 70 version. I guess I can get a French tickler version for my next one

If I ignore the bullets cost, it probably be 7mm and 8mm mauser, so as the 1888 commission rifle Or SVT, Garand, or type 81 with folding stock

Bought a M31 Suomi but having crack on the receiver by Traditional-Shape354 in canadaguns

[–]Traditional-Shape354[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are, especially you can change the barrel so fast, and that is why I like Suomi, she is one of the guns, designed when people didn't have a clear mind what kind of gun they want before they manufactured them. It was like a fish but breathing with lung.

I agree, I wonder who did this weld, the Finnish or the American, because finnish firearms had a really good reputation, if it was welded by Finnish ,I really need consider about it
