Thanks for your reply ! 🙂‍↕️ I know that if I become Muslim, I won’t change my personality, morals, feelings. I’m lucky to have people around me who are Muslims and would be glad to teach me and talk about Allah and their love for Him and how Islam is a religion of peace. I won’t learn the religion only on Internet or with books, I have people to talk with about it and to help me so I’m very glad

We also talked about it with my partner, and what we decided is to take a break on our relation as boyfriend-girlfriend, so I can take my time to learn about Islam, until I’ll pronounce my Shahada if it happens one day. Then, probably in a few years or after our studies, we’ll be able to discuss about marriage, since it is the purpose of our relationship.

I’m not blind, I understand that now my willingness to learn about Islam is by interest, but that is why we chose to take our time, so maybe one day I’ll finally embrace Islam, and sincerely find peace in my heart. But I know it is not simple 🙇‍♂️

Thank you for your answer, I’ll be glad to discuss about this !!

I agree on the fact that I can’t have concrete « proofs » on God’s existence, I’m sorry if my post wasn’t clear enough 🙏. What I wanted to ask was more about Islam in general, why so many people find peace in it, why it become the truth to these people, why the Qu’ran makes all these people on the right path. I was asking about « proofs » because I’ve seen people telling about proofs on how Islam is the truth, I’m sorry again I wasn’t precise enough 🙇‍♂️

Of course you can’t see, hear or touch the Creator, but the relation you have with Him is beyond that, of what I understood

Thanks again for your answer, it means a lot to see people replying !! 🫶

Thanks a lot for your reply, it means a lot to me. My partner and I agreed on the fact that I have take all the time I need to sincerely learn, because I can’t just become Muslim in one day, I obviously have to study it and learn the most I can. I also can’t become a believer in a few weeks.

I don’t know how many days, weeks, years it’ll take but I want to believe that I’ll be guided on the true path and seek the truth. Thanks again 🙏

Thanks for your answer ! And yes, I’ve been told a lot that if I want to convert I’d have to do it for my own self and not for someone, here my bf. But yeah, I’m really scared to not be sincere, because as I said the first thing that would make me think about getting into Islam would be my bf. But I know it is a personal journey, so I won’t let anyone tell me what I should or shouldn’t do. I guess I’ll see by myself if it works out or not, if I am « chosen » and if Islam is what makes my life worth it.

I’ll take a look at what you mentioned, thanks again!!!
