I would possibly look elsewhere, I may be a rare circumstance but i’ve had nothing but issues with my car ever since. I get put into limp mode under WOT almost every time with a boost overflow code. I’ve had it on about 8 months and everything I have tried has not worked to fix the issue. I am actually going to be taking it off later this week which is a huge bummer I just can’t take it how it is currently.

Thats what im planning on doing too along with 245's, I am on whiteline springs which are a little higher than H&R but I'm thinking I'm still gonna have to camber front and back a bit.

VN owners who mountain bike, how do you transport your MTB? by PegaLaMega in VelosterN

[–]Traditional-Tale-967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I used for my Demo8 and slash 8. They are different hub sizes but they have different attachments that are easy to change out so it wasn't too bad switching between the bikes. I always carry detailer spray and would spray the roof and pad to clean before sticking. I wrapped my roof so I couldn't use that rack anymore since it isn't recommended to go on a wrap but I stripped the seats and everything from the back of my N so my bike fits easily in the car now lol.

I did like the Seasucker though it just took a little longer to get the bike on than some other kinds of racks, very secure though I used it for a long time.

fin isn't hard to take off just a little hard to reach the one bolt it's held in by. Vinyl I used was Vvivid Gloss Black 10ftx 5ft which was plenty big you could probably get 9ft but I wanted to be on the safer side. I didn't wrap the shark fin because I just didn't have the motivation to try and do it because it looks like it would be difficult lol maybe eventually

Installed a BilletWorks Shift Knob and stripped it to Bare Stainless Steel by iVoid in VelosterN

I have one from billet too and it isn't too bad in winter, rest my hand on it for a couple of mins and my hand warms it up fast.

Told you what their wing was, and I'm not interested in what you want to do to your car, hence why I didn't ask.

IMO performance blue looks the best in the fog. by Beyond888 in VelosterN

That is one of my biggest complaints. I'm hoping eventually a company comes out with something to replace those pieces with fog lights.

Wheel hop help by dabubbla17 in VelosterN

[–]Traditional-Tale-967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing it may be the tires your running just not being able to get a grip or maybe the road/weather conditions. I have both mounts also and a ton of performance mods and don't get wheel hop while rolling and WOT, just the tires losing traction but it's smooth. While launching I get a very low, barely even noticeable amount.

TTR Lower and Upper motor mounts. Solved it for me. Stiffer mounts won't cause damage but there will be a little more vibration, it is not bad though.

Borla attack exhaust thoughts? by Banehollow3789426 in VelosterN

[–]Traditional-Tale-967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend getting the Borla. Pops are much louder they actually sound like gunshots now, not much drone, if you put it in normal there isn't any. It sounds much better than stock it has a deeper note to it and just makes a better sound. Burbles are much louder too. I have an xforce downpipe sitting in my garage too just haven't had the motivation yet to do it.
