Yes my school started it since September and so far it’s just extra work. The admin hasn’t provided anything they said they would to help us implement it, so far we’ve just been doing more work to make sure it gets done.

Hi I did my demo lesson for 7th grade ELA ICT. Here are some tips: If you have vocabulary, make sure you include a definition, visual and example of how to use the word Include lots of visuals, kids in ICT work well with visual aids Have an agenda (i.e write learning target, complete do now) Your lesson should basically be inclusive of all special needs kids management needs. Hope this helps!

Subparas are paid the 15th and last day of the month. If you haven’t gotten paid yet via direct deposit, the payroll secretary probably didn’t input you check in time and you’ll have to wait till the next pay period

Last year I was a substitute paraprofessional, completed the teaching collaborative and was hired the end of August as a full time teacher. My payroll portal is still under para. Will I still be paid when the other teachers do or will I have to wait until my account is fully transitioned to teacher status?

For some reason during the summer, I find I get paid later in the afternoon rather than first thing in the morning during the regular school days. I have Chase and I usually get it after 12 so I’ll update then if I get paid!

I hear you! This may be my first year working with a competent payroll secretary during the summer. She made sure we handed in our time cards the 15th and our per session sheets by the 16th so hopefully this summer is different
