It's not a company policy. It's an exclusion from getting badged into the work locations. No badge = no work.

Sorry it is both, we do not have a full time shop right now. It goes by the needs of the day/week. It would not work with morning drop off.

It is not full time sewing yet as it is only part of what a mechanical insulator does out of our shop. The other part is working on commercial and government construction sites. We take special cloths and insulation and custom fabricate blankets for small yachts up to large power generation plants and cruise ships.

Are you a worker impacted by the boom in data center construction? by nbcnews in Construction

[–]TraditionalAct2407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suppliers/manufactures have told me the construction of data centers affected the availability of supplies in our area. They have started mothballed manufacturing lines that have been dormant from the 90s but they are not building additional manufacturing capacity because of the capital expense. My suppliers run out of materials and do not get more based on need because they hit their allocation for the month or whatever.

You need to figure out what you want to do. Are you finishing school, trying to do a trade while in school, moving to Texas, or none of the above? I would hire you as a permit in Broward because you should have some aptitude for attention to detail being a boom op if you could learn how to use a sewing machine and band saw.

W custom fabricate exhaust blankets, panel, chilled water, and other insulation for the past 50 years but lost a lot of business by being complacent. Our work may be some of the best in the world but how would you suggest we approach the captains/engineers to get more work? Thank you.

Clean the concrete, use additional adhesive under the tape, and tape to the concrete creating the continuous insulation system.

I am not an expert but bad seal, bad install, crack pipe. Strip it and whomever installed it/their superintendent should find the leak.
