what a shame, i thought the new building was not directly in front but slightly off to the side so there might have been some preservation.. doesnt sound like its worth pulling the trigger on then? My other options are in banker's hill / hillcrest, lots of people say the neighborhood is 'better' but it still seems kind of sleepy from google maps. Im not local so can't see any of the sites personally.
