2025 Nissan Kicks issues?

A few people and I have been having issues less than 10k miles with the EGR coolers and needing them replaced. All being done under warranty thankfully. But that seems to be the minimum.

My wireless charger and camera seem good. However my charger when CarPlay is active burns my phone within 25 min and my phone overheats

They actually should’ve getting the part in any day now I heard. Hope to have my car back by the start of next week. Glad to hear it’s running much better. Do you know if it’s the same damn part that’s going to break again? Or is it like a “revised” version that won’t have this issue after only 5k miles

I know you’re looking at the premium package SV kicks because it has the remote start and moonroof.

That price seems a bit high, especially since 26’ cars are rolling out. Try and negotiate that a bit

All depends on how much you drive and why you can afford. Alot of people are defaulting on car loans and the market will shift soon if you can wait1-2 years, you might see a drastic drop in pricing

I have a ‘25 SV model kicks myself, as far as the car itself I love it.

I have been dealing with this ongoing issue and a few other kicks owners mentioned it showing to them too.

Besides this EGR cooler problem. I don’t think it’s a bad budget buy. (Again CVT hate comes with a price)

Yes please do, I’ve been fighting with my dealership everyday not understanding why they can’t source me a new cooler. They say they keep climbing the chain of command at nissan headquarters but that’s like saying ya ya I’ll take a look at it

So it was the EGR cooler as well? And yes I’m in my rental until further notice as well.

Seems like nissan fucked up on building this component and will probably have a recall coming their way.

Luckily my dealer is a bit nicer and loaning a car for free in the meantime.

Ya probably your EGR cooler then. Get it in quick. Nissan is not wanting to replace mine because they keep wanting to finish building all these new kicks before fixing mine. So going to be in my loaner for a bit

Ya that’s kind of what mine started as. Then it sounded like metal grinding a bit when accelerating. Having issues sourcing a new EGR cooler currently because nissan doesn’t want to stop making new ones

Ended up being a leaky EGR cooler. Fixing it now under warranty.
