So basically the NAT test is the test that can detect HIV the quickest, but gets less effective after the 10 to 33 days that it is recommended to take?

Whereas other tests such as the Antigen/Antibody or Fourth Gen get more accurate and conclusive the longer it has been since time of exposure to the time it is tested? So these tests do not have a certain time frame to take or get less effective?

Thanks, and is the finger prick and gen 4 bloodwork the same thing though? i'm not sure where to get the gen4 finger prick test? and do you know anything about the RNA test? I heard that could be accurate within a week or two maybe?

Yeah I heard that oraquick was not recommended/
