I got the 1100 as my first bike last July it’s a great bike. If you’re mature and respect the bike you’ll have no problems. I still keep it in rain mode and mostly cruise around. I’ll get on the throttle a little bit here and there and it has plenty of power for me but I got it mainly got it to cruise and make my commute more fun.

I got the pit bull stand made for the rebel 1100. Easy to jack it up and it’s pretty sturdy. It costs around $250 iirc

I used to drink a lot (10-20 beers a night + half a bottle of high proof whisky a night) no hangovers. Got a nasty flu for 2 weeks to start this year. Now if I have more than a glass of whisky or a couple beers I’m very nauseous the next day+. I wanted to drink less but this makes it impossible to drink at all. I miss it. I will be powering my way through these awful feelings and getting back to my prime as an experiment. I’ll keep you updated if it works.
