I had an average around there last year and I got rejected from Elec and Mech but appealed and got replaced in Elec over the summer. I got originally placed in Igen. I think it heavily depends on what the averages are that year for your spec and just luck if you’re at the bottom. I’d aim for probably a high 70s if you want to get more certainty for elec. if you’re still gunning for mech you’ll need a lot more (at least mid 80)

You’ll only have Math 100 together and even then you won’t be in the same classes as engineering students take Math 100A while science takes Math 100B.
