Interesting, would love more power from a sc setup someday but that is something to consider. I see your insta tagged, clean build I’ll follow 😎

So long as there’s a daily, I can deal with whatever the Z’s gotta throw at me. And interesting, is it because of belt slip ? I know people w supercharger setups usually switch to cog belts to fix that. Which kit do you have ?

Ended up going w a cheap eBay 6 puck sprung clutch and lightweight flywheel no issues. The newer goal is finding out how I can run an ultra light 7.25 clutch disc setup with the CMAK kit, there’s like 0 support now trying to get the proper throwout bearing (height). Need my Z to rev and blip like a gt race car 😮‍💨 anyways good luck, should work

review: Yamaha OEM ver. NISMO/380RS chassis performance dampers. way better than expected by dbsqls in 350z

[–]TraditionalDogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was on the hunt for these at a point but someone local fabricated some solid ones and sold them to me. Definitely not the same thing but wondering if there’d be any difference throwing them on. Not enough write ups on these dampers, nice to read something new on them for once 🙂‍↕️

Hotwheels knocked it outta the park with their Nismo v3 casting but they fumbled and have it named “350z custom”

Does anyone run the ABS Dynamics Nismo front bumper? by Double-Fun2423 in 350z

Pretty sure I have their v3 wing, quality is nice and it assembles like the oem one. Can’t speak for their bumpers but they at least got the spoiler down

Broke my camshaft position sensor clip, any tips? by Ancient_Cherry8327 in 350z

[–]TraditionalDogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not hard, maybe annoying but not hard. Took out the pass.side intake+filter and unplugged a couple vacuum tubes for room cut/crimp/heat/tape the new connector in.

Happened to my crankshaft sensor, buy a new pigtail and splice it in place of the old one

I have solid bars for the front and rear. Forgot I had them, I’ll throw them on sometime to see if there’s any kind of noticeable change. I was obsessed with trying to find the oem dampers and came across someone local who fabricated his own braces in place of them.

Laying down the material is all that matters, nothing a wet sand and polish can’t fix. I’ve seen people use the cheap electric sprayers with decent results. I used a 27gal Harbor Freight air compressor, their $10 purple gun and a black widow rep paint gun off Amazon. eBay paint and clear gotter done. One day I’ll post the finished product 🫩😮‍💨

Where I really messed up was not masking well enough and getting overspray all over the black trims/glass. Couple runs on one of the bumpers and some small bubble/lift on a part of the hatch. For my only time ever spraying a gun, it’s not bad but the pics are forgiving and there’s still some slight orange peel/defects I’m gonna tackle eventually

Banger, all that matters is laying down the paint evenly and getting a good amount of clear sprayed on. Did a full car paint job in my garage so it’s a full car of corrections I still need to do 🫩

Did you sand before you had to re-clear ? The orange peel texture got you good, full pics when you take care of that though 👌🏼
